Settlements Tarahumares in Chihuahua - Audio
WELCOME TO ASENTAR

Given to the migration concern of RarĂ¡muri community to Chihuahua city. A missionary Jesuit together with a group of people noted that their conditions of poverty, marginalization and life became worse. So, they decided to constitute "Asentamientos Tarahumares A.C." with the aim to change this reality.
 
Currently, estimated to live in Chihuahua city an average of 1000 Tarahumara families (5000 persons approx.) in over 100 irregular settlements, in unhealthy conditions and in high degree of marginalization and backwardness.
 
 
 

The modern world has created a gulf between rich and poor, specifically marginalizes to the indigenous groups, so that it becomes imperative to work for them. In this space you can help by providing ideas for improvement, create opportunities for the Tarahumara community through your donation.
